🪲 Wētā on the face? No problem! Over 100 of our Y4–6 students had an amazing time at Kohuora Park yesterday and today. From bug hunts, stream testing, bird surveys, to discovering native plants and fungi, the kids loved exploring and learning how to keep Kohuora healthy.

Weeding, composting, planting, watering, harvesting.... our tamariki have been doing it all! There have been muddy gloves, big smiles, and plenty of teamwork as they’ve cared for our garden from the ground up this year. And those garden goodies? They’ve been turning into some very tasty (and very popular!) dishes too! 😋🍴🌿

What an incredible week it’s been! We’ve explored new stories, shared our favourite authors, and celebrated our love of reading together.We wrapped it up with Character Dress-Up Day - and the creativity was amazing! 📚✨ A huge thank you to everyone who joined in and made the week so special. Book Week may be over, but the next great story is always just a page away.

Over the last six weeks our Year 0–1 tamariki have been building their Fundamental Movement Skills and the progress has been awesome! Today they wrapped it up with a fun balance bike session, strengthening balance and coordination.
