Dear lovely parents
We’re so excited to announce our new program theme for this term: “Growing Strong”. After an exciting and hard-working adventure in the Animal World last term, where the children explored various animals and their habitats, we’re shifting focus to help them grow strong and healthy—just like the plants and animals they’ve been learning about!
This term, we’ll be diving into healthy living through fun activities such as yoga, stretching, and outdoor games. Kids will also enjoy hands-on experiences with healthy eating, like making fruit salads and learning how food grows. We’ll even plant seeds and talk about the role of fruits and veggies in keeping our bodies strong and full of energy.
The children will engage in physical activities that boost strength, coordination, and teamwork—all while having a blast outdoors!
We can’t wait for another exciting term of growth, exploration, and plenty of fun!

We took the children to the library by bus. The kids were very happy and excited on the bus ride. At the library, they listened to a fun story. The storyteller used different voices and made the children laugh. After the story, the kids drew pictures and made their own art. They also played with puzzles and toys. Everyone shared and took turns. The library staff were kind and helpful. The trip was calm and joyful. The children learned, played, and smiled all day. It was a great Early Smiles trip full of fun and happy memories

Today was a beautiful day, and we made the most of the nice weather at daycare! The children had so much fun with a creative painting activity. We used toy cars and big pieces of cardboard to paint. The kids rolled the cars through paint and then across the cardboard, making colorful tracks. They laughed and shared their ideas with each other. It was messy, fun, and full of learning.
After painting, we went for a walk together. We stopped near some bushes where the children got to explore nature. First, they ran around, full of energy. Then they started playing with leaves—touching, tossing, and watching them fall. They even tried jumping high to grab the leaves hanging from the branches. Everyone joined in, and their smiles were the biggest reward.
The fresh air, sunshine, and movement made the day feel special. It was a perfect mix of art, nature, and play. Watching the children enjoy simple things like paint and leaves reminded us how magical childhood is. We are thankful for days like this. The kids had a wonderful time from start to finish. Happy Monday to everyone from our happy daycare family! Here are some photos and videos of your child having fun and looking happy

Yummy soup
On a cold day, we want our children to feel warm, safe, and healthy. That’s why making soup together was the perfect activity. The warm steam, the smells of fresh vegetables, and the fun of cooking made the day special. Soup is full of healthy ingredients like carrots, potatoes, and onions that help keep our bodies strong. The children learned how food can keep us warm and give us energy. They felt proud to help make something that everyone could enjoy. Sharing the soup brought comfort and joy. It was more than just a meal—it was a way to care for one another on a chilly day.

Children explore the Five Senses through a fun, hands-on activity using paper plates and craft supplies. They create faces showing eyes, ears, noses, tounge, and hands to represent sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch. As they cut, glue, and talk, they build fine motor skills, expand vocabulary, and deepen their understanding of how the senses work. This engaging activity encourages creativity, decision-making, and cooperation with peers.

EXPLORING THE SENSE OF TASTE
Today, children explore the sense of taste. We offer small samples of sweet, sour, salty, and spicy foods in bowls. Children use their tongues to try each one. They describe what they taste using words like “sweet” or “sour.” This helps them build language, think, and learn about differences. They watch others’ reactions, helping social and emotional learning. Children use fingers or small spoons, building fine motor skills. This hands-on play builds confidence, curiosity, and fun. It’s part of our exciting week learning about the five sense
