Welcome to the home of Duffy Theatre on Facebook! With the help of FleetPartners and The Mazda Foundation the Duffy Theatre reaches over 500 schools each year.
Every year, two groups of travelling actors journey from North Cape to Bluff bringing the message 'It's Cool to Read and Cool to Achieve' to tens of thousands of Duffy kids. This exciting live 45 minute show has become a Duffy institution and a highlight of many school calendars. In previous years Duffy kids have been enthralled by shows such as Duffy's Dance Diary Adventure, Duffy's Time Travel

Duffy and Scruffy's Pawesome Adventure has come to an end! Nearly 500 schools and over 80,000 Duffy kids got to enjoy the show in 2025. Massive thanks to Ronnie, Fipe, Kazim, Siana, Maizy and Toby. What a dream team of actors!

Today is ASSITEJ International World Day of Theatre for Children and Young People! We were joined by MP Rachel Boyack at Lower Moutere School to celebrate the occasion!

What books did you love growing up?
The Rainbow Fish by Marcus Pfister, The Witches by Roald Dahl and Twilight by Stephenie Myer
What do you love about reading?
Being able to imagine a whole different world full of characters just from words on a page.
What inspired you to be an actor?
I love the thrill of being on stage and being able to share energy with other cast members to create a story for others.
Who are your real-life role models?
My family, they are what drives me to achieve things in life.
What do you look forward to most about touring in The Duffy Show in 2025?
This is my 3rd time doing Duffy after 3 years of studying so I’m so excited to be back. I think just putting a smile on kids' faces always makes my day so I’m excited for that.
