This is the favourite time of our week here in Haututanga.It’s our Specialisation time on Wednesdays and the students enjoy learning how to sketch using details. Today we drew a native bird. Did you guess it is the TUI 🐦‍⬛

Parent Group Quiz Night - a fantastic opportunity for parents and staff to connect, celebrate the end of term, and enjoy a fun evening together. This is a parent-focused event (adults only), so please leave children at home with a babysitter.

Tickets are available via Kindo along with catering pre-orders for pizza on the night. Ticket sales and pizza orders close on Tuesday 22 September.

You can register a team of eight in advance to reserve a table by emailing [email protected] or simply come along on the night and find an available seat to join a team with others. We can’t wait to see you there for a great night of laughs, connection and community spirit.

On Monday, Room 2 had a marvelous time playing with junk during the J***y Monkeys session. They constructed, dragged, experimented, talked and cooperated for the entire time. One of the learners said that he had ideas, then saw others playing and then he had even more ideas. The children used their imagination to play using new materials. Everyone had a fabulous time.

Rūma 19 & 20 got together this morning to learn Science. The students worked around four stations, learning about the heart, measuring our pulse rates, and even building the heart chambers out of playdough! Great mahi from our Year 7/8 students!

A sea of 💛 YELLOW filled the hall as we celebrated our certificate award winners. Thank you to Room 5 for leading an amazing assembly. Our AIMS Netball and Basketball team were presented with their hoodies and wished all the best for week long competition in Week 8 🏀🏐
