Some of the most important learning happens on the floor, surrounded by friends, imagination and a handful of blocks.

At Sugartree Lane, caring for the whole child means supporting their health and wellbeing too.

As part of our annual programme, we recently welcomed hearing and vision specialists to the centre to complete routine screenings with our tamariki. These checks can help identify any concerns early and support children to thrive in their learning and development.

Thank you to all the whānau who took part. We're proud to make services like these part of our ongoing commitment to our children and families.

Once upon a Tuesday morning, three engineers met around a table.

One arrived with a bus.

One arrived with a handful of magnetic tiles.

One arrived with an idea.

The bus became a delivery truck.

The tiles became a city.

The idea became ten different ideas.

And before anyone noticed, a whole adventure had appeared.

That’s the thing about children. They can build a thousand places from a handful of pieces and invite everyone along for the ride.
