¡Hola, hola! I’m Mercedes, and I’d like to introduce myself here. ✨

I’ve spent over 20 years doing what I love most: teaching (or as I like to call it, connecting through conversation). But I don’t believe in the old "repeat and memorize" way. My approach is play-based and natural. I truly believe we learn best when we’re having fun, losing the fear of making mistakes, and connecting with the language through real-life emotions.

A little bit about me:
📍 I’m originally from Argentina, but I’ve been calling beautiful Auckland, NZ, home for over a decade.
🎓 I specialize in personalized 1:1 lessons, tailored exactly to your goals—whether you're prepping for exams or just want to feel confident for your next trip.
🎨 When I’m not teaching, I’m a total enthusiast for anything creative! I love getting lost in a good book, and you’ll often find me busy with a new crafting project.

My goal is to create a supportive space where you feel confident enough to just start speaking. Whether you’re a neighbor here in Grey Lynn, or joining me online from anywhere else, I’m here to help you find your voice in Spanish.
