It’s finally here…Quiz Night 2026. Arrivals from 7pm and the quiz will start sharply at 7.30. Look for the table name on the black A4 sheet that also has the auction QR code on it. The place looks amazing - huge thanks to Jess for overseeing decorations and also Krystal for her help too. Thank you to Andy and Mrs Spray for helping to set things up. And a special mention to Priya for all the behind the scenes work helping with not only quiz night but also the auction!
A big shout out to Heidi and Uvonne for all their hard mahi on the auction. Make sure you check out the auction items on display tonight. Remember that if you aren’t attending the quiz you can still bid on the auction items - it closes at 9pm on Monday. Don’t forget to bring some cash as we can be bribed into giving a few answers out. See you in a few hours!

🎭A big Shout out to Titirangi Theatre 🎭
They have donated most of the props that will be used for decorations for our quiz night - from old telephones from the 50s and 60s to lanterns from the 1800s!
You can support them in return by getting along to see their next play…
2 – 13 June 2026
A MAN FOR ALL SEASONS
A compelling drama about Sir Thomas Moore, who refuses to betray his conscience when King Henry VIII demands his support for a royal divorce from Catherine of Aragon and the break from the Catholic Church.
Sounds like a great date night idea!
🍅🍞🥕And we couldn’t forget to do a special mention to FreshChoice Titirangi 🍅🍞🥕
They support our school in so many ways - from donating 1000 sausages for our last gala, to vouchers to give away for litterless lunches. They are one of our biggest supporters and they never say no! Please make sure you pop in to see them for your groceries and support local!
They have kindly donated Fresh Choice goodie bags as the prize for the best dressed table!

Oh my goodness, is this not one of the best things you've seen today?
Year 3, Room 10 has read the book The Day the Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt. Inspired by the story, the students imagined other everyday items that might decide to quit because they were tired of being mistreated, just like the crayons.
The children came up with some incredibly creative ideas, from a jumper that had been worn too much to a football that was tired of being kicked around. Their imaginative thinking, humour, and writing skills really shone through, and we love it!!
Ka pai tō mahi, Room 10!

Hello fantastic people,
We're looking for some helping hands with a couple of exciting art projects happening around our school!
Planer needed:
We have 24 fence palings (each under one metre long) that need to be planed smooth on one side so they can be transformed into a beautiful art display along our driveway.
If you're able to:
Lend us a planer, or volunteer some time to help with the planing.
Jigsaw wizard wanted:
We're also looking for someone skilled with a jigsaw who could help us cut out circles for another creative display project.
If you can help in any way, please get in touch with Stephen at [email protected].
We would be incredibly grateful!
Thank you for supporting our school and helping bring these projects to life!
