Given that confidentiality and anonymity are paramount in the research work we do, pseudonyms in qualitative research are an important consideration.

Don't forget that there's "undo" functionality in NVivo – sadly there's no "redo" option though.

Always take the time to prepare your data carefully – it doesn't matter what functionality your software has, if the data you enter is rubbish your analysis will be too!

What's in a name? Naming conventions are pretty useful when it comes to – name your files and folders sensibly when you set your project up. You'll thank yourself later!
