💚 Celebrating Our Dads & Father Figures at Toki Explorers! 💚

This morning, we celebrated Father’s Day a little early at Toki Explorers! 🥰

It was so special to welcome our wonderful dads and father figures into the centre at drop-off, giving them the chance to spend some quality time with their tamariki before heading off to work. 🔨🎨💚

And of course, we couldn’t send them off hungry! Our Brekkie on the Go was ready and waiting, with ham & cheese McMuffins, cheese McMuffins and a drink to take away and keep our dads fuelled for the day! 🥪🥤

We loved seeing our tamariki proudly sharing their space, playing, creating and making special memories with the important people in their lives. 💕

To all of our incredible dads and father figures — thank you for everything you do, for the love you give and for the special role you play in the lives of your tamariki. 💚

We hope you all have a very Happy Father’s Day this Sunday! 🥰

We absolutely love seeing our Toki Explorers whānau grow, and who better to spread the word about our little centre than our wonderful families! 🥰

If you have a friend, family member or someone you know looking for a warm and nurturing early learning centre, refer them to Toki Explorers.

✨ When they enrol and start with us, you’ll receive a $200 credit on your account as our way of saying thank you!

🔨🪵 Little builders hard at work!

Our tamariki have been busy hammering away at the woodwork table! Such a wonderful hands-on experience for building confidence, coordination and creativity — all while having lots of fun! 💚✨

🌸☀️ Hello, Spring! ☀️🌸

What a beautiful way to welcome the first days of spring at Toki Explorers, with some gorgeous sunshine and colourful learning! 🌱💛

Our tamariki enjoyed exploring our primary colours — red ❤️, yellow 💛 and blue 💙 — using our flower-shaped sorting trays. They carefully sorted the colourful building blocks into the matching sections before letting their creativity take over and using the blocks to build their own wonderful creations! 🧱🌈

It was so lovely to see the concentration, problem-solving and creativity happening as our tamariki sorted, built, experimented and learned alongside one another. Experiences like these are a wonderful reminder that so much learning happens through simple, hands-on play. 💛

Here’s to more sunshine, creativity and colourful spring adventures ahead! 🌸☀️🌿

🎓✨ A VERY SPECIAL CELEBRATION AT TOKI EXPLORERS! ✨🎓

We are incredibly proud to celebrate one of our amazing kaiako Amanda, has officially graduated as a Qualified Registered Early Childhood Teacher! 🥳🌿

Completing your teaching qualification while working, learning, and growing a baby, giving so much to our tamariki is such a huge achievement and one that deserves to be celebrated! 💛

We have been lucky enough to watch your knowledge, confidence and passion for teaching continue to grow throughout your journey, and we are so excited to see where this next chapter takes you.

Our tamariki are fortunate to have another passionate, qualified kaiako supporting, encouraging and inspiring them every day. 🌱

Morena! Happy Daffodil Day 🌼

What is Daffodil Day all about?

Daffodil Day is a special day that helps raise awareness and funds to support people and whānau affected by cancer.

The daffodil represents hope, strength and new beginnings, a beautiful message to share with our tamariki. 🌼

We invite our children to come dressed in yellow and, if families are able, bring along a gold coin donation to help support the Cancer Society.

It’s also a wonderful opportunity for our tamariki to learn about kindness, compassion, helping others and being part of our wider community. 💛

Every little contribution helps make a difference.
