Hobsonville Secondary School is conducting a lockdown exercise. This is how you will be notified in the first instance, should a lockdown occur at the school. Bruce Barnes has been the Principal of Massey Primary School for over 30 years.

Bruce was a highly respected leader who served his school, staff, students and community with integrity, commitment, and care, he was also an avid champion of Arohanui and a strong advocate for our ākonga. Bruce always saw our ākonga as part of his kura and his community.

Bruce passed away peacefully on Saturday night. His passing was unexpected and will be felt deeply across our community.

The Arohanui whanau’s thoughts are with Bruce's family and with the Massey Primary community.

Come and celebrate with us! Our students have been busy in their classes making products to sell at our Arohanui Market. We look forward to seeing you all there.
