Day two of Yuzu distilling now with a twist. Layering with Lemon Myrtle leaves. Wow this will be great! I feel the Lemons n Myrtle will just give the Yuzu and green citrus herbal twist.
Yuzu harvest heralds citrus time. We pick as soon as it starts to glow yellow on the tree. We aren’t sure about the purity of its genetics as it was a grapefruit grafted onto yuzu root stock and it’s reverted. But it’s definitely got the yuzu complex citrus fruit salad character with an interesting hint of funk. Love it as a perfume accord and in skincare.
