Happy Father’s Day from Riverhills ELC!

A huge thank you to all our amazing fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and father figures who joined us for our Father’s Day celebration! 🥰

We were so grateful to see so many of you come along and take part. It was beautiful watching our tamariki and their special people dance together, play games, laugh, and simply enjoy precious time together. These are the moments that our tamariki will treasure. 💙

A very special well done to our tamariki who did an amazing job practising and performing for their dads and loved ones. We are so proud of you! 👏✨

And of course, a massive thank you to our wonderful kaiako for all their hard work, love, and dedication in preparing such a special celebration. Your effort made the day truly memorable.

A huge thank you to our Riverhills whānau, tamariki, and community for supporting our Daffodil Day fundraiser. 💛 Together, we have proudly collected $381!🎉

Daffodil Day helps raise funds and awareness to support people and families affected by cancer. The daffodil represents hope, strength and a brighter future 🌼

Through our Daffodil Day activities, we wanted to help our tamariki learn about kindness, caring for others, generosity, and the importance of supporting people in our community. 💛

A special thank you to our amazing kaiako for all their hard work, creativity and dedication in preparing the experience and making this day meaningful and enjoyable for our tamariki. 🌼👏

🇹🇴 Tongan Language Week Celebration!

Our tamariki had a wonderful time celebrating Tongan Language Week! We enjoyed learning about Tongan culture, dancing to Tongan songs, and making a delicious traditional ‘Otai fruit drink.

A special mālō ‘aupito to Lavinia for joining us on Friday and sharing her culture with us. Our tamariki loved learning the Tongan dance and having fun together!

We are proud to work closely as a team with our neighbouring school, Riverhills School, to support and strengthen our local community.

We warmly invite our families to attend their Open Day on 17th August and take the opportunity to learn more about the school and what they have to offer.

🎈 Small Balloons, Big Fun!
Our tamariki love balloons! They enjoy throwing, catching, tapping, and chasing them as they float through the air. This simple activity always brings smiles, laughter, and lots of excitement.
