Our pēpi explored sound and rhythm by using spoons to tap and bang on metal pots. What may look like simple play is actually rich learning - babies are discovering cause and effect, experimenting with different sounds, and developing their coordination and motor skills.

Today our tamariki explored a beautiful fine motor invitation - placing colourful shapes onto tree branches in the sandpit. Yesterday our little chefs celebrated Pancake Day by getting creative with pancake art 🎨 From swirling patterns to splatty masterpieces, there was so much exploring, pouring and mixing happening!

We even made and enjoyed real pancakes together - practising turn-taking, developing fine motor skills, and experiencing new tastes and textures.

Learning is always sweeter when you can eat it at the end! 💛
