What a busy evening at our DIY Skin Care workshop with Ger at Massey Community Hub!

Participants got stuck into creating their own body butter, lip balm, deodorant, body scrub, and bath bombs, learning simple ways to make everyday skincare products at home.

A big thank you to Community Matters for supporting this workshop and helping make these learning opportunities possible.

Our young makers are really getting the hang of power tools in the Circular Woodworking Design Programme!

This week, the rangatahi built an adjustable shelf, putting their measuring, drilling, and building skills into action. It's been awesome to see their confidence grow in the workshop each week.

A huge thank you to Auckland Council Waste Solutions for supporting this programme and helping young people learn practical skills through creative reuse.

Got a tween or teen aged 10 to 14 who loves making things? Registrations for next term are now open. Check out the link below!

This week in our Upcycled Arts & Crafts After School Class at Mānutewhau Community Hub, Michelle and Yael led an amazing session of Painting Without Numbers!

Thanks to Foundation North, our creative tamariki explored painting in a fun and relaxed way. Some even completed two or three pieces, with Kitten and Rose proving to be the top favourites of the day.

Tuesdays in Term 2 are full of colour, creativity, and heaps of fun - we can’t wait for next week!
