To help us celebrate, all Samoan students are warmly invited to wear their cultural dress to school tomorrow (Friday 5th June). This is completely optional - only if you'd like to!

Newsletter for the month of June

A friendly reminder today’s Learning Assembly is hosted by Room 6. Join us at 2.15 PM in the school hall.

There is construction work on Swan Crescent as well as on Tiraumea Drive.

Swan Crescent is still open, but traffic will be slow during drop-off and pick-up times. To help avoid traffic jams, please try to park on Tiaka Place or Aurea Avenue if you can.

We do not know yet when the construction work will finish.

This is a quick reminder that Room 6 will be hosting the school's Learning Assembly tomorrow afternoon. The assembly will begin at 2.15 pm in the school hall.

Student absences:

Every day counts towards your child’s learning at school. Attending school gives your child the best opportunity to realise their full potential and do well in life.

It is essential the school is informed everyday when your child is absent or late from school.

There are a number of ways to report an absence:
- Hero app
- Skool Loop app
- School website (www.anchoragepark.school.nz)
- Email the office at [email protected]
- Phone the office on 09 576 9175

Please remember to state your child's name, class, how many days they are away, and reason for their absence.

If no reason is given, the absence will be marked as unjustified. Each day the office will send a text to parents of children who have not arrived at school, and we have not received a reason for the absence, each morning after the roll call at 9.00am. We are required to keep accurate records of your child's school attendance, by the Ministry of Education, and high levels of absenteeism will be monitored.

Room 6 will be hosting our Learning Assembly this Friday 29th May in the school hall at 2.15pm.

Change to the start date of Term 3

Please be advised that Monday 20 July 2026 is a scheduled Teacher Only Day. School will be closed to students on this day for staff professional development.

Monday 20 July: CLOSED – Teacher Only Day.

Tuesday 21 July: OPEN – First day back for all students.
