My name is Norma Fleming.

I am a mother of 6 children. For the last 14 years, I have homeschooled my children. I have a teaching and administration background and love working with children. At LJ Greene Academy, we offer classes in

Grade1-7 Maths and English tutoring
Beginner music lessons in Violin and Piano
Language lessons in beginners Samoan and Spanish
Lessons available January 10th, 2017

Almost 40 years ago, in a small town in NZ, called Masterton, my late father, Taputoa Lui Leatu, established a Samoan school.
There were only a few Samoan families in the small community and it was Dad's goal to help keep the culture alive by forming a group where the language and culture could be taught and passed on to the students. I hope to be able to continue my Dad's legacy by offering Samoan classes.

Always wanted your child to learn an instrument? At LJ Greene Learning Academy, we offer beginner lessons in piano and violin. 5 of my 6 children play an instrument and sing. My 9 and 11 year old received honours in their AMEB exams this year. The key to music is, as a parent - be involved with their learning as much as you can;
-as a child learning an instrument practice, practice practice😊
