Twas the night before Mother's Day, and there wasn't much sound,
Except for little pitter-pattering feet running around .
A last minute card to make, a gift or three,
Plans for breakfast in bed with a nice hot tea.

Whatever the plans, tomorrow's the day,
To celebrate the mums who brighten our way.
