Still in our thoughts.

Another birthday passes, another quiet contemplation of a life cut far too short, but she certainly made the most of that precious she was given.

Still missed, and the memories treasured as much as when they were made.

I know this is an American thing but it resonated with me for obvious reasons.

At Mission Bay. One of our favourite places on a fine day.

For those of you who know Whaea Margie if you look at the cover photo just imagine her leading this lot singing the National Anthem in Te Reo and English, while they waited for the how to begin. The Rugby World Cup tourists that where there were blown away.

I am going to close with a poem that really sums up what Whaea Margie thought about her passing. It is called Do Not Mourn For Me

Do not mourn for me -
I am not gone
You may not see me, but I am still with you.
My spirit stands besides you and
Holds your hand in mine.
I see your sadness and I allow it to turn to a smile.

For I am not gone.
I will always be with you
Even though you may not know
