This April, our Great Outdoors Holiday Programme is all about curiosity, creativity, and connection with nature.

Tamariki will enjoy:
🪴 Creative Make & Take activities like Seed Bombs and Forager Pouches
🗺️ Hands-on learning adventures exploring STEM, geography, and culture through play
🚸 Team challenges and outdoor games that build friendship and confidence
Plus some special highlight days including a Mobile Farm visit, an Amazing Race team challenge, and an exciting trip to Butterfly Creek.
🌿 Perfect for kids who love to explore, build, create, and get active outdoors.

📍 REMINDER: sKids Milford Move – Starting Tomorrow

Kia ora parents and families,
Just a friendly reminder that from tomorrow (Wednesday 18 March – After School session), the sKids Milford programme will be operating from our temporary venue while the school hall renovations take place.

📍 New Venue:
Church Loft – St Paul’s Anglican Church
10 Otakau Road, Milford
(Only a 2-minute walk from Milford School)

• Year 0 & Year 1 – collected from classrooms by sKids staff
• Older children – please remind them to go straight to the TURF meeting point after the bell
Once all children are accounted for, our team will walk the group together to the church loft.

Thank you for your patience and support while we prepare for the upcoming changes at Milford School. We truly appreciate the community’s understanding during this transition. 💙

Due to the Milford School hall renovations, the sKids programme will temporarily move to the Church Loft at St Paul’s Anglican Church (10 Otakau Road, Milford) starting 18 March (After School Care) until approximately mid-August (targeted completion).

📍 The venue is only a 2-minute walk from school, allowing us to continue running our programme close to Milford School.
⚠️ Please note that spaces will be limited due to the smaller venue, so we encourage families to book early to secure a spot.

From early mornings to busy excursions, creative activities, safety briefings, and countless moments of encouragement — our leaders truly made the magic happen. ✨ They kept our tamariki safe, supported, engaged, and smiling, all while juggling routines, challenges, and a whole lot of fun!

Happy New Year!!!

Over the break, our sKids team has been busy recharging and making memories 💛 — some of us stayed close to home 🏡, others headed across the ditch ✈️ or travelled further afield 🌍. We spent time with whānau and friends, explored new places, soaked up nature 🌿, and enjoyed doing what we love most.
Now we’re feeling refreshed, energised, and so excited to welcome tamariki back next week! 🎉
