President Olive Tech-Orias is welcoming members of Morning Toast and guests from Daybreak Toastmasters to our “inclusiveness” themed meeting.

Table Topics Master Julia McInnes presented the People’s Choice for the Best Table Topics to Nidheesh Gangadharan, and Table Topics Evaluator presented the Best Table Topics Award to Graham Gunn.

Julia McInnes was the Table Topics Master, with challenging table topics she wrote up after being awakened by her children at 3 am with nightmares! The Table Topics speakers were Darin Wolfaardt, Aida Sakatova, Jonathan Choy, Sandeep Nannepaga, Nidheesh Gangadharan, and Graham Gunn.

Our Annual Business Meeting was chaired by our Immediate Past President George Ham, with Treasurer Graham Gunn presenting his Treasurer’s Report and President Olive Tech-Orias presenting her President’s Report and the VP Education’s Report on behalf of VP Education Natalie Heng.

Morning Toast Toastmasters all set up for our Annual Business Meeting on 20 May 2026, with Jonathan Choy kicking off the meeting with his joke of the day: that his car is made of spaghetti, fettuccine, and penne, and, hence, it goes “pasta” that other cars! Nice one, Jonathan.

Jonathan Choy, our Grammarian, is presenting his report on the use of “coexistence”, our word of the day, and notable uses of the English language in our speeches.

On the left is Dr Jinfeng Huang, a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Specialist, with Dr Carmen Chan, an urgent care doctor, continuing their conversation after the former's speech on "Why we need a gall bladder".

George Ham served as our General Evaluator and presented the Best Evaluation Award to Michael Drumm. Meeting Chair Jilnaught Wong presented the Best Speech Award to Jinfeng Huang.
