This week we proudly celebrated Samoan Language Week and embraced the richness of Samoan culture within our learning community.
A heartfelt thank you to all the parents and past parents who generously gave their time to visit us, share their cultural knowledge, and introduce aspects of Samoan language, traditions, and values to our tamariki. Your contributions created meaningful learning experiences and helped our children develop a deeper appreciation for the diverse cultures that make up our community.
We would also like to extend a special thank you to the families who shared delicious Samoan food with us. The children and teachers thoroughly enjoyed experiencing the flavours of Samoan culture, and sharing food together was a wonderful way to celebrate and connect as a community.
We are grateful for your support, generosity, and willingness to share your culture with us. Thank you for helping us foster a strong sense of belonging, respect, and cultural understanding.
