I’ve been very quiet on here lately — like everyone, life has just got super busy!
I don’t usually share too much personal stuff (it always feels a bit cliché saying “life update!”), but I thought I’d give a little peek at what’s been going on behind the scenes.
I started volunteering at our local football club — just to help out a bit… famous last words! 😂 it’s turned into a full-time volunteer role. But honestly, our club really is our community, and with no family here in Aotearoa, it’s become our second whānau — so I wouldn’t have it any other way (well, maybe with a few more hours in the day!). ⚽
At home, my oldest was recently diagnosed with autism. We’ve suspected it for a while, and right now she’s not in school and needs my full support. The school system hasn’t exactly been winning awards for helpfulness, so it’s been a bit of a juggle — part mum, part advocate, part caffeine-powered chaos manager. ☕
Through all of this, your steady orders have truly meant the world. Mental health appointments don’t come cheap, and the public system… well, let’s just say it’s a character-building experience. 🙃 Every single order helps more than you know, and I’m so incredibly grateful.
So while it might have looked a little quiet online, I promise I’m still here — still creating, still packing, still finding glitter in places it shouldn’t be. ✨
