It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our much-loved former Office Manager, Mrs Gail Matich.

Gail dedicated an extraordinary 37 years of service to our school. She was a familiar and reassuring presence at the heart of our school community. She welcomed generations of children and families through our doors with kindness, warmth and genuine care, building relationships that extended well beyond the school gates.

Over nearly four decades, Gail made a lasting contribution to our school through her professionalism, dedication, compassion and commitment to others. She was deeply respected by colleagues, treasured by families and remembered fondly by generations of students whose lives she quietly touched.

The Manurewa community has lost one of its most cherished members. Gail's legacy lives on in the many people whose lives she enriched through her years of service and friendship.

On behalf of our Board of Trustees, staff, students and wider school community, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Gail's family and loved ones at this difficult time.

We are grateful for Gail's remarkable contribution to our school and the community she served with dedication. She will always hold a special place in our school's history and in the hearts of those who knew her.

Rest in peace, Gail. Thank you for your friendship, your dedication, and your outstanding service to our school community. You will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
