Is your child ready to love learning? Join us for Stay & Play at ACG Sunderland Early Learning School — Friday 19 June, 10:00–11:00am.
Come and see our Early Scholar Pathway Programme in action. It's designed for children aged 2+ and builds the literacy, confidence, and school readiness they need before they step into primary school.

Our Under Two’s tamariki at the Early Learning School recently explored a rich sensory art experience, using bubble wrap, foil, and recycled plastics as their canvas. ✨🎨
Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and the “100 Languages of Children,” this hands-on experience encouraged creativity, communication, and playful discovery. As children painted, pressed, and explored vibrant colours and textures, they developed fine motor skills, sensory awareness, and confidence through curiosity-led learning. 💛

✨ Student Achievement Spotlight ✨
A huge congratulations to Aiden, who recently participated in the Eye Level Literary Competition, an international writing competition for young learners.
We are delighted to share that Aiden has been awarded the Bronze Award for his writing. This is a wonderful achievement and reflects his growing confidence, creativity, and progress in literacy.
Even more special, Aiden received $50 in prize money and has thoughtfully chosen to donate it to the Cancer Society. What a kind and meaningful gesture.

Last week, our Under Two’s tamariki in the Early Learning School became little researchers as they explored motion and gravity through hands-on play with small cars and a carved wooden plank. 🚗✨
Through rolling, observing, and experimenting, children discovered concepts like movement, balance, and cause and effect in a playful and meaningful way. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach, this open-ended experience encouraged curiosity, critical thinking, and exploration as tamariki revisited their ideas through repetition and discovery.
At ACG Early Learning Schools, every day is filled with moments of wonder, discovery, and connection. ✨
Our new brand campaign video beautifully captures the warmth, curiosity, creativity, and confidence we see across our centres every day - from first discoveries to imaginative play and meaningful learning experiences.
Inspired by our Reggio approach, these authentic moments reflect the environments we carefully create to nurture each child’s unique potential and support strong foundations for lifelong learning.

🌋 Last week, our preschool tamariki explored the fascinating world of volcanoes following a special visit from an educator at Auckland Museum. Through songs, movement, storytelling, hands-on exploration, and a volcano eruption experiment, children discovered how volcanoes form and erupt while building curiosity and early scientific thinking.
Tamariki also enjoyed listening to a meaningful Māori pūrākau about volcanoes, deepening their connection to Aotearoa’s natural environment and cultural heritage. What an exciting week of discovery and learning! ✨
