It covers a wide range of subjects, other post-gra

duate business degrees tend to be highly focused in a disciplinary area (including management). Therefore, they don't equip a manager or executive for the demands of leading a business. A high level of prior business knowledge is needed to gain entry to the MBA Programme and you will need to have significant work experience. MBA studies are highly interactive. You work in study groups, sharing your experiences with other participants. The focus is on the practical application . The knowledge you gain in the programme can be applied to the workplace. You make excellent contacts. The MBA experience establishes excellent business networks amongst participants and between their organizations, because you study and progress as a group. An MBA is hard work but it's worth it! Our Executive MBA is for senior managers, is class room taught and focuses on the personalised experience, being closely connected to practice and strategic leadership. We do this with a personal leadership focus, one on one coaching, an integrated project with a regional development agency, and an international study tour. Each course has a strategic lens and there are also two specialised strategy courses. Our MBA (full time and online) is for emerging and mid level managers. It focuses on leading-edge business thinking, learning embedded in practice and a personalised experience with flexibility. If offers specialisations, an interactive online platform, the ability to complete within one year or up to five years and builds management capability. We had a great bunch of people with us at the weekend (79 students) for the Executive MBA Contemporary Strategy weekend. A shout-out to the team leaders for each group but also to their teams. The collaboration and support was amazing.🥳
Well done to all of the teams. Your hard work showed through in your Dragon's Den presentations.👏
Brilliant to have JB Hi-Fi NZ executives on site all weekend to work with the students, to inform, enthuse and demonstrate the brilliant JB culture. We have a new appreciation of the brand and products.

The Executive MBA Contemporary Strategy class is on this weekend, 79 students and guests (alumni, business leaders) on the Albany campus for a Dragon's Den excercise.
Students are finding it challenging and exciting (plus a little terrifying at times). It is all in a safe environment so as they practice they realise what a fabulous learning experience it is 😁

Here are some photos from the first Executive MBA study tour to head away in 2024.
The students were in Shenzhen, Guangzhou, & Hong Kong.
The enjoyed learning about the fascinating growth story at BYD's HQ, Eaton Hotel management showcase their community approach in Hong Kong among other visits.
The highlight was presenting their consultancy work to the HSBC leadership judges in Hong Kong.

QS New Zealand Ranking: Advanced to 3rd in the country, up from 5th.
QS Academic Reputation: Improved to 286th globally. This marks the fifth consecutive year that Massey has been ranked in the top 300 for both overall performance and academic reputation.
QS Sustainability Rankings: Massey has made remarkable strides in the QS Sustainability Rankings, rising from 125th to 81st in 2024.
QS Subject Rankings wins (2023 vs. 2024):
