Kia ora Edendale whānau,
Due to the weather forecast for Auckland tomorrow, we have made the decision to postpone the opening ceremony of our Rainbow Tubular Slides.
We will work with the Friends of Edendale (PTA) to set a new date and time for the event and will share this information with our community before the end of this week.
Thank you for your understanding and support. We look forward to celebrating this exciting addition to our playground together very soon.
Ngā mihi

Today marked a special milestone as our House Leaders brought a three-year legacy project to life with the launch of our school coffee cart.
This project has been built through vision, commitment, and student leadership, and today it was incredible to see our House Leaders serving coffee to our community with confidence and pride.
We were excited to link this with our monthly Parent Coffee Morning, which continues to be such a valuable opportunity for our community to connect, share stories, and start the day together over a coffee, tea, and a bite to eat.
A huge thank you to John and Hannah for the time and energy you put into running these coffee mornings each month. Your work creates an incredibly welcoming space for our whānau and community.
We would also like to extend a special thank you to Greg and Anthea from Industry Coffee for training our House Leaders and creating a special school coffee blend just for us. Your support has helped turn this vision into reality.
This project is about much more than coffee. It is about leadership, connection, service, and creating opportunities for our students to leave a legacy for those who follow.

Kia ora,
Join us this Thursday morning for a cup of coffee or tea, and connect with other families at Edendale.
Thursday 28th May
8.30 - 9.00am
Edendale Primary School: Picnic benches in entry courtyard (or in a neighbouring room if raining)
In addition to our regular monthly catch up, the House Leaders will be using their new skills to make barista coffee on a brand new machine.
We will have plunger coffee and tea available free of charge, and the House Leaders will be serving espresso, flat whites, long blacks, and lattes for $5.
The students are really excited to show off their new skills. A big thanks to Greg from Industry Coffee for teaching them, and being there to support them. Greg will also be selling bags of coffee to take home.
It’s looking like another beautiful day, so pop along and show your support.
Ngā mihi
