🎨 Exciting News for Term 4! Brand New Youth Classes Are Here! 🏺

Looking for a fun, creative, and hands-on after-school activity for your kids this term? We are thrilled to launch our Term 4 Youth Classes, packed with classic favorites and exciting new mediums to explore!

This term, your kids can get hands-on with wheel throwing and ceramics to create their own pottery, dive into STEM and creative tech projects, craft intricate papercraft builds, and master line work and perspective with technical drawing and illustration—plus plenty of classic visual arts along the way.

👀 Sneak peek close ups of some of the vibrant fun art in In2Art, a biennial exhibition featuring students’ artworks Year 7 and 8 Students in the Auckland region.

Thank you to school teachers, Kathie, Larissa and Sam, for their amazing mahi this week gathering, curating and displaying the spectacular collection of intermediate students’ artworks for the In2Art exhibition. This year’s exhibition features a diverse range of artwork from students at:

Attention artists with studios in Kaipātiki 🎉 Registrations are open for Open Studios Kaipātiki 2026, on Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 November.

Open your studio to the public across one weekend, meet new audiences and buyers, and be part of a celebration of creativity on the North Shore. Taking part is free, and every registered artist gets a listing in the printed brochure and map, a page on the event website, a place on the digital art trail, event signage and promotion through the event campaign.

Lift A Moon Festival – A Free Family Cultural Day arrives on Saturday, 19 September 2026 at the Main Gallery, Mairangi Arts Centre. From noon to 4 pm, families are invited to celebrate together.

Enjoy games, a scavenger hunt, interactive crafts, delicious food and vibrant cultural performances that showcase the traditions that bind our migrant families in Aotearoa.

This day is made possible by the generosity of Families Growth and Thrive Charitable Trust, local businesses, community sponsors and dedicated volunteers – a true example of community supporting community.

All are welcome to share stories, make new friends and create lasting memories. See you there!
