✨ Mānawatia a Matariki! ✨

Last week we celebrated Matariki with our wonderful whānau at our Matariki evening. Our tamariki proudly performed, we shared kai together, and whānau added their aspirations for the year ahead.

Throughout the week, the children explored Matariki through arts and crafts and tamariki also brought in vegetables to help make a delicious Matariki soup, celebrating sharing, togetherness, and gratitude.

Our tamariki enjoyed a magical ballet session with Miss Margs from BabyBallet. Through music, movement, and imaginative play, children explored balance, body awareness, and creative expression.

It was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they danced, stretched, and moved together with joy.

Experiences like these support children’s holistic development while fostering a love of movement, creativity, and wellbeing.
