It’s been a whirlwind end to Term 4 - full of great opportunities for our boys. Cultural talent, sporting prowess, academic achievement & community spirit have been on full display. Thank you to our staff & boys for such a spectacular 2025. Enjoy the holidays!

More than 1200 artworks were on display for our 2025 Art & Design Exhibition in the Centennial Building. Every boy had at least one piece of art exhibited, showcasing their creativity and artistic talent. Thank you to family and friends who visited school to view the inspiring exhibition.

King’s School celebrated its 103rd birthday with our traditional Tug o’ War. Teamwork, sportsmanship & House spirit were on display & the competition was fierce. Congratulations to Averill House - overall winners for 2025.

Our youngest musicians have showcased their talents today! Congratulations to Years 2 & 3 on their ‘Strings in Action’ demonstrations & ELC, Transition & Year 1 for the magnificent ‘Let’s Waitata’ performance.

Our talented choirs competed in Kids Sing last week and put on fabulous performances for the judges, lifting the roof with their spectacular full and rich sound.

It’s been a great cross country month for King’s School! The whole school took part in our annual event showing grit, determination & encouraging their peers.

Congratulations to the cast, crew, band, staff and parent helpers who delivered the most exceptional performances of Shrek The Musical JR. It was spectacular and great to see such talent on display. What a fantastic way to finish the term!

After the disruptions of the past two years we were delighted to hold an Honours Band Festival once again. Accomplished musicians from St Cuthbert’s, Diocesan, St Kentigern’s and King’s came together for two days of preparation and fun at King’s School, before a combined performance at Diocesan’s Arts Centre for family and friends on Friday afternoon. It was incredible! Thank you to all the Music staff involved for making this fabulous event happen.

Congratulations to our Prep & Junior School boys who competed in their Swimming Sports this week. Thank you to the team of Year 8 boys who provided support in the pool for those who needed it and to all the mums, dads & family members who came along to cheer the boys on.
