Digital Smile Design or DSD was created by Dr Christian Coachman and Livio Yoshinaga and has grown to include 3 dimensional case planning. Simple to complex cases can be planned with accuracy and confidence by combining 2D design, chairside oral scanning and CBCT.

First time in New Zealand! 6/7 March, 2026. Global Diagnosis is a two-day, hands-on workshop with Dr Bill Robbins that gives dentists a clear, step-by-step system for planning complex aesthetic and functional cases. It covers facial analysis, incisal edge position, gingival architecture, skeletal relationships, airway considerations, and how to integrate ortho, perio, and restorative treatment into one predictable workflow.

Through lectures, real case examples and practical exercises, participants learn to use the Global Diagnosis “tools” (including crown lengthening, root coverage, and orthodontic intrusion) and see how the system integrates with Digital Smile Design for powerful patient communication and case acceptance.

I'm delighted to be part of the Modjaw 4D International Summit this September 24–26 at The Hilton St Julian’s, in Malta. This is a three-day immersive event in the heart of the Mediterranean, designed for every area in which 4D dentistry plays a part - essentially any case where we want to see how the patient uses their teeth. I will be speaking on tooth wear and how I use Modjaw in diagnosis and inter-disciplinary planning, alongside some incredible world-class speakers.
