This week we've been celebrating Playcentre Education week. It's not just tamariki who learn at Playcentre. Parents and caregivers can work towards an NZQA Level 4 certificate in Early Childhood Education and Care. It's free of charge, flexible learning designed to fit around your parenting responsibilities.

Matariki is a time for reflecting on the past year and setting intentions for the future, with a focus on personal growth and community wellbeing.

At Narrowneck Playcentre we celebrated Matariki with a whanau BBQ and roasted marshmallows on our brazier. Our tamariki sung waiata and practiced poi. We wrote out resolutions/goals for the coming year, which we will display in centre and reflect on next Matariki.
