It’s Mental Health Awareness Week 2024 in Aotearoa from 23 to 29 September. Thanks to Creative New Zealand’s survey findings, we know that 63% of New Zealanders believe the arts are good for our mental health and wellbeing.
We also know that creative spaces throughout the country nourish our mental health, providing connection and healing through the arts. In this great image by Ōtautahi Creative Spaces, artists hold signs reflecting the benefits of the arts in people's lives.
