Who doesn’t love a beer on a hot sunny day? But… (there was always going to be a but right?!) alcohol is one of the fastest ways to detract from your goals. It affects your mood, your motivation, your nutrition and your waistline. So if you are anything like me you will need a plan for over the summer.

Have you got any amazing strategies for avoiding (or at least limiting) the beersies this summer?

My wife’s favourite is soda water and lemon in a reusable beer bottle so she doesn’t feel like she’s missing out. I’m not sure it’s the solution for me so I’m open to ideas!!

This is a really nice example of a sensible approach to nutrition!

Healthy but practical. Flexible dependent on current life situation. Mostly made up of whole, minimally processed food.

But, crucially, includes wine 👊😜

We have been using the same boring rotation of meals for the last couple of years while the kids have been so little (and allergic to sleep) and have finally reached a point where we are ready for some variety!

Same ingredients (chicken, bok choy, mushroom, onion, kumara) but... add a Moroccan lemon sauce to the chicken and some extra garlic to the greens... it's a whole new world!!
