An absolutely marvellous day was had here at ASP over the weekend. We didn’t let the rain stop us from throwing a joyous Midwinter Pottery Market. Thank you to all those that attended, the stallholders, and the volunteers. Sharing events like this with the community are what we are all about. We cannot wait for the next one!

We are delighted to announce that this year’s judge for NOURISH, is Rachel Carter.() Rachel is a Tāmaki Makaurau based potter who creates small batch ceramics focusing on tableware. As an artist Rachel produces work handcrafted with traditional methods to enhance the rituals of daily life. Her pieces bring a calm beauty to their environment, and although refined in their appearance, each one is designed for everyday use and appreciation.
In addition to her explorative work and art practice, Rachel collaborates on bespoke pieces and commissions with New Zealand’s leading Chefs, Hoteliers, Architects and Designers. Thank you Rachel for agreeing to judge for us. We look forward to it.
