Today, Tuesday 14 September people all across Aotearoa will be sharing a moment of te reo marking the moment in 1972 when the Māori Language Petition was presented to Parliament. Last year, over one million people took part.
Your te reo moment could be using a greeting, reading a story to your tamariki, listening to or singing a waiata, playing a game, or learning and sharing your mihi. Whatever you like!

Kia ora whanau - as you will be well aware, Auckland will be in LEVEL 4 lockdown for the next SEVEN days from midnight Tuesday. Under Level 4 school will be CLOSED to everyone.
An email has been sent to caregivers with information about our online classes and teachers will be in contact with families tomorrow.
Not all students will have access to a device to do project work from. Please do not worry about this. You can always continue reading everyday, revise basic facts and innovate at home as much as you can. Don't forget about the TVNZ on Demand Home Learning platform https://www.tvnz.co.nz/shows/home-learning-tv
