Panmure Lagoon Sailing Club

Panmure Lagoon Sailing Club Panmure Lagoon Sailing Club trains junior and senior sailors and provides friendly competition on the sheltered tidal waters of Auckland's Panmure Lagoon.

Easy access, low fees, a safe environment and a fleet of yachts available for use. Since 1963 small boats have sailed and raced on the Panmure Basin, a volcanic crater connected to Auckland's Waitemata Harbour by a narrow channel and the Tamaki Estuary. The club has concentrated over the past fifty five years on training junior and senior sailors and providing friendly competition on the Basin's s

heltered tidal waters. Easy access, low fees, a safe environment and a fleet of yachts available for use have made PLSC a popular club for beginners and Sunday sailors alike. Sailing promotes a healthy body, provides a break from school and work routines and gives opportunities to make new friends. Sailing is a sport that carries many who have started as children through to retirement age.
