Kia ora whānau!
Our tamariki have been making the most of the sunshine this week, despite the chillier weather. We've seen some amazing hanga/building, auahatanga/creativity, and manaaki/care for our friends.
We've been learning about Daniel and the lions this week, and how we can ask and trust God to look after us no matter what. He is always with us!
A highlight this week for our older tamariki was a visit to Milford School. It was lovely to reconnect with our Kindy friends! We also got to meet the kaiako/teachers, share some kai/food, and tākaro/play together!

Kia ora MBK whānau.
It's been a short but sweet week, and we've seen lots of exciting engagement from our tamariki. There has been so much learning happening during these moments. We have been talking about the importance of listening to one another and using our beautiful voices to communicate respectfully with each other.
Our Bible story this week was about Elijah and the fire from heaven, which reminds us that God is often present in our quiet moments.
We've also been learning about firefighters and the protective gear they wear. Our tamariki loved talking about what firefighters do and how their equipment helps keep them safe.
Have a restful and enjoyable weekend, whānau.

Morena whānau,
How wonderful it is to see our tamariki learning so many things this week! First of all, our tamariki have been enjoying a variety of afternoon activities such as creating bikes and scooters using clay, engaging in science experiments, and learning about shapes, numbers, and so much more!
Most interestingly, our tamariki learned about how engines work and even had the opportunity to see a real engine in a car! This is part of our curriculum focus on movement and trajectory, which has evolved into an interest in discovering what makes a car move. How cool is that!
Our tamariki are also learning to worship God through singing songs to Him, which brings Him joy.
See you all next week! Enjoy the long holiday!

Our tamariki have had a wonderful time learning at kindy this week! We explored shapes, created beautiful buildings, enjoyed reading stories, and had fun discovering colours through play and art. Our Bible story was about David and Goliath, and the children learned about God's grace and love. We can't wait to see more learning happening next week. Have a lovely weekend -GOD Bless ♥️

It has been an amazing week of learning and fun as the tamariki explored Road Safety. It was wonderful to see their confidence and skills as they zoomed around our chalk track on scooters and bikes of all kinds to celebrate Wheels Week.
We also continued our focus on Movement, taking a closer look at how cars, scooters, and bikes move. Together, we explored and discussed new vocabulary such as force, pull, push, pedal, brake, fast, and slow, along with many other exciting ideas connected to movement and motion.
Ha e a lovely weekend and we look forward to another week of learning adventures next week.

Kia ora MBK Whānau,
Dear mum's you are indeed what Proverbs 31::25 says "she is clothed with strength and dignity, she a laugh at the days to come".
We had an exciting week as we enjoyed a variety of activities preparing for Mother's Day. It was nice to hear stories from the children of the tireless work their mum's do, cooking, baking, heaps more, some of which you would have received and some on display. The children rise up and call her blessed, her husband also, and he praises her. Proverbs 31:28.
It is a joy to be back home after five weeks of holiday. I had the opportunity to visit the Reggie Emilia Centre in Italy and this visit has inspired me to understand that children have more than a Hundred Languages. This week the children have explored with paints, play dough, balls, sandpit play, ramps, slides, cars, wheels, and friendship making visible the "The Hundred Languages".

This week, our tamariki explored movement in fun and active ways, discovering how things move. The children also worked together to create a beautiful construction, exploring colour and expressing their creativity through artwork.
So much learning and laughing - what an amazing week at MBK 🌟♥️

Kia ora MBK whānau! Nau mai, hoki mai, welcome back to Kindy for term two!
It's been lovely to have all our tamariki back this week and to see them all enjoying reconnecting. There has been such joy and love expressed as our tamariki spend time together again! Despite the chill in the air, our tamariki have been very active outdoors, peke/jumping, oma/running and hanga/building.
We have been busy auaha/creating ANZAC poppies this week, and have also been learning about Noah and the Ark. Our tamariki love seeing all the kararehe/animals and the rainbow of God's promise in this story!
Enjoy your long weekend!

Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. ♥️

The children had a marvelous time engaging with their peers! They enjoyed building blocks together, chasing each other, kicking and throwing ball, and doing lots of imaginative play -- and they're going to love doing it all again!
What made this week even more enjoyable was the Easter Egg Hunt around Kindy. Mr. Bunny was very cheeky, hiding them in places no one would have thought to look! Most importantly, the children learned about the true meaning of Easter -- the love of God shown through Jesus Christ, who have His life for all mankind.
Have a wonderful long weekend.
God bless you!

There has been so much wonderful learning happening in the kindergarten this week! The children have continued to explore movement and direction through their play, showing curiosity and creativity in how they move and interact with their environment.
Alongside this, we have seen some amazing building creations, with children thoughtfully constructing and placing their work in different spaces around the kindy.
Drawing has also been a highlight, with children expressing their ideas and imagination through their artwork. It has been lovely to see friendships continuing to grow, with children sharing, collaborating, and enjoying each other’s company throughout the week.
