Through storytelling, arts and crafts, baking and role play we have been honouring Anzac Day by creating opportunities and experiences for our tamariki to explore and demonstrate kindness, respect, helping others, empathy and bravery.

As the year comes to an end we just want to take a moment to say thank you to all of our tamariki for bringing us endless amounts of joy, laughter, chats and snuggles.
To all our whānau - thank you for trusting us with your tamariki, their learning and development, happiness, fun and everything in between. Thank you for helping Early Connections’s be the home away from home we envisioned, it truly brings us a sense of joy to be involved in your lives.
And to our kaiako, we wouldn’t be Early Connections without you. The love, dedication, care, patience and energy you bring everyday is why our tamariki are so happy, settled and thriving.
We wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Enjoy your holiday, soak up the sun and make memories to cherish with whānau and friends. Please be safe on the roads if you’re travelling and we will see you in 2026.

This week we celebrated thanksgiving, a much loved tradition of kaiako Morgan who is from America.
We made cornbread and toasted s’mores while talking about what we are thankful for in our lives.
This year as a part of thanksgiving we decided to fundraise for Hugo by dressing in bright colours and collecting donations from our Early Connections community.
We were blown away by how generous everyone has been and how the tamariki have embraced the concept of giving back to the community.
