Thank you, Titirangi — what an incredible community! 💛

We feel like the luckiest market around to have such a supportive customer base, and I feel like the luckiest Market Manager to have such an amazing group of vendors.

Making the call to cancel the outdoor market was incredibly tough. While the forecast did improve somewhat, those peak wind gusts were still pretty high, and with so many gazebos onsite, that creates a real safety risk.

Weather decisions are never easy, especially when forecasts are changing, so we really appreciate the understanding and support we received for putting the safety of our stallholders, customers and community first.

And most of all — thank you to everyone who still showed up and made the indoor market so awesome. It was so heartening to see people come down, shop local, support our stallholders and bring such a lovely atmosphere to the RSA.

Our vendors really felt the support, and so did we.

Titirangi, you’re pretty special. Some might say that you're the best community around... and I might happen to agree!

In 1926 the first Steiner/Waldorf kindergarten opened. Although Rudolf Steiner was no longer alive he had worked with the first kindergarten teacher describing the importance of children learning through imitation, the insightful observation of the children and the teacher being guided by intuition.

This is still true today.

In addition to our upcoming Spring Festival and Open day we have celebrations in the Kindergarten to recognise this important milestone. Join us on 19 September as we celebrate 100 years of Steiner Waldorf Early Childhood Education, and 40 years of TRSS Kindergarten, and reflect on the enduring question with a special talk in the hall at 12:30pm.

“100 Years On - Why We Still Need Waldorf Education.”

Then visit the kindergarten to plant a seed pot, share in the celebration, and join us in looking towards the next 100 years.

Come and enjoy a day of Spring celebration, explore our school with open classrooms from nursery to high school, and discover why this unique approach to education continues to inspire families around the world.

For many families, Pēpi Aroha Playgroup is their first experience of Steiner Waldorf education — a place where little ones can play, and whānau find community.

We’re always welcoming new families to Pēpi Aroha. If you have a pēpi or young child from birth to 3 years, come along and experience our warm and welcoming community for yourself.

Pēpi Aroha is a place to slow down, play and have a cuppa. We share fruit and fresh buns, sing waiata, make things and simply enjoy being together.

Each term, we make a seasonal craft together. This term, our tamariki are busy creating their own spring baskets. 🌸

It’s lovely to see friendships grow, playdates being arranged and families getting to know and support one another through the ups and downs of life.

We’re very grateful for the warmth, kindness and connections that continue to grow within our Pēpi Aroha whānau. 💛
