Our Story

In 2007 we set out to provide a great service for children and their families. A place where incredibly talented and passionate people could make a positive difference to the lives of children.

We knew back then that we had to create a culture that would foster that greatness and in turn create amazing child focused ‘special places’.

Since our humble beginnings, School’s Out has grown and developed and is now a Social Enterprise wholly owned by the Wright Family Foundation. This means that we not only have a positive influence on those directly involved in our centres but we can also play a role in improving the lives of those in the wider society.

The Wright Family Foundation own BestStart Education and Care Centres, New Zealand’s largest provider of early childhood education services. Right from the outset, School’s Out and BestStart have worked together to provide the best possible service for your child and your family.
