My name is Tish, and I want to share the fun and excitement by educating the younger generation with the magical sounds of the steelpan orchestra.
This instrument is the national instrument of Trinidad & Tobago, and is played around the world as part of steel band orchestras, as well as a single instrument within all types of band genres. New Zealand is one of the youngest countries to engage with the pan, and I want to bring it to schools and use this instrument to create something wonderful and fun! 🎉 Our Pan Club hosted its very first “Family & Friends” concert to mark the end of Term 2! 🌟 It was an incredible evening, capped off by a wonderful performance from “Sweet-As-Steel Steelband.” Heres a glimpse of the evening. 🌸 Huge thanks to everyone who came out and made this night so special! 🎶✨
