On Friday last week, we farewelled our amazing DP Mr Worsnop as he had his final day at GDC ๐Ÿฅฒ
He is heading off to take up the position of Director of Learning Technologies at Diocesan School for Girls. Mr Worsnopโ€™s kind, hard-working, incredible work ethic and energy has been greatly appreciated - we wish him well in his new role! ๐Ÿ’™

On Friday, our students ran the annual GDC Cross Country at Churchill Park ๐Ÿƒโ€โžก๏ธ It was an epic day with loads of house spirit and some amazing efforts - congrats to everyone who participated and a special shoutout to those who placed! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ

We are excited to announce we have VTNZ at Glendowie College on Monday 15 June at 3pm to test students who want to sit their Learner License.

If you are ready to sit your Learner license and are 16 years or older please register with the Careers Department to reserve a spot.

Students will need to:
- fill in an application form (DL1 application)
- provide proof of your identity
- pass the eye test (you can do this at an optometrist too)
- let the agent take their photo and signature
- pay the learner licence application fee of $96.10 (eftpos is available)
The application fee includes the cost of sitting your first theory test, and a second test if you need it. The more prepared you are for the test, the more likely you are to pass.
