Heyo!

I really do hope you are all taking care of yourselves and finding ways to get through our complicated circumstances. I understand that it can be very stressful and remember that it is more than encouraged to come to myself and max if you have any questions or concerns.

Just wanted to let you know that Max and I will be posting out a survey that will just be to check in with how you are finding everything and of course to answer any questions and concerns you may have. It is really important for us to communicate especially during this time so please take a few moments to complete the survey coming out later today.

Heya! I'm Cas, I am one of your class reps for this sem!

Just a few things:

I cannot stress this enough, if you have any questions whatsoever regarding the course or uni in general please do not be afraid to flick me a message - I'm in my third year now so I know what it is like being completely lost and confused haha, I was terrible first year so there are no bad questions.

eg.

A question I would have asked in first year:

"I am 15 lectures behind, can I still catch up?"

Trust me. I was the worst, so do not be afraid to ask me anything haha.

Secondly, here are some things I feel you may want and if so please do let me know!

Please 'like react' to this post if you would be keen for us to arrange a study group/ study sessions - this can be really good for first year papers :)

For feedback I was thinking it may be easiest to send y'all a link for short google doc surveys to make it nice and easy for you - since I know it can be a bit annoying - Probably once a week and nice and short :) There will be sections on the end for you to detail a specific issue if you have one - otherwise dm me or Max :)

Other than that, I just wanted to say thank you for giving Max and I the opportunity to be your class reps :)

Hi guys, I hope you are all going well through the course! Here is the message from our ambassadors!

My name is Athena. Minahil and I are ambassadors from the Science Ambassador Programme. We offer study sessions for first-year papers, including PSYCH 108 and PSYCH 109/109G. These sessions are to help you navigate the courses and build connections. Although we do not academically tutor the course, we will try our best academic ability to help with general questions. At the moment, we are available on odd weeks Wednesday, 1-2 pm only. The sessions happen in 302-G40, which is the science student centre.

P.S. I just want to reiterate that Minahil and I are here specifically for the stage one PSYCH students. We provide really anything you can think of, ranging from general academic to non-academic problems, i.e.
- how to deal with uni stress? we can share our past experience and tips
- how to study psych efficiently?
- planning ahead with your psych degree?
