FREE Lessons - Writing and Grammar - http://www.selfaccess.com/sa_ver2_kereru.php?page=classroom
When grading the writing section of IELTS exams, the markers look for three main things - answering the question accurately, cohesion and coherence, language appropriateness (grammar, spelling, register etc.) Research has shown that students have major problems with the writing module because of insufficient time, different writing styles, lack of vocabulary, weak grammar, incorrect spelling, and lack of background knowledge of the topic in the test passages.
At selfaccess.com we provide many exercises to help you practise grammar. Remember also that for describing trends and graphs, the verb forms you are likely to need to know are the contrast between present perfect for unfinished actions and the simple past, the use of present continuous to describe things in the process of happening, and future with will for predictions.
Do you have to practise using the present perfect or choosing the correct verb forms, why not try our academic lessons below?
