Room 23 has really enjoyed learning some of the beautiful Samoan language this week. We were fortunate to have two of our own experts step into the role of teacher and share their knowledge with the class!

In Room 24, we are exploring narrative writing and creating our own stories based on a short video clip. We are working hard to include speech, commas, descriptive details, and paragraphs to make our writing more engaging. Some of our stories are already stretching over three or more pages!
As part of our Inquiry learning on Ancient Egypt, we have been designing our own pyramids. We have been thinking about what materials we would use and how we would build them, just like the Ancient Egyptians.

Our Year 5 and 6 students had an amazing time representing our school at the HPPA Hockey Fun Day! They showed great sportsmanship, teamwork, and enthusiasm throughout the day, making us proud both on and off the field. It was fantastic to see students giving their best, supporting one another, and developing their hockey skills. Most importantly, everyone had a blast and enjoyed a fun-filled day of hockey with students from other schools. 🏑😊
