These instruments are well suited to older beginners and are in strong demand in school and community bands. Learning a wind or string instrument builds confidence, teamwork and musicianship, and opens the door to ensemble and concert band opportunities.

Working Bee form Papakura music school is moving our storage into the new classroom.

We made a great start today moving our equipment into the portable classroom, but we still need a few extra hands to help move the remaining items.

Our youngest musicians in the Pre-Instrumental class put on their Christmas-themed performances for their families today, and they did such a lovely job.

We are so proud of each of them and can’t wait to see how they continue to grow on their musical journey. 🎶❤️

A big thank you to our amazing Pre-Instrumental team — Michelle, Danielle, and Claire — for guiding our youngest learners with so much care and enthusiasm. 🌟
