❄️☃️ Last Friday was Snow Day at DreamCatchers! ⛄❄️

What a magical way to finish the week! The children had so much fun playing in the snow, having friendly snowball fights, and working together to build their very own snowmen. ☃️🤍

It was also a wonderful sensory experience for the children as they explored the cold, soft texture of the snow, felt it melting in their hands, and discovered how it could be shaped and moulded in different ways. ❄️👐✨

In the afternoon, we continued the fun by getting creative and making our very own snow cakes! 🎂⛄ The children loved using their imagination and creativity to create their snowy treats.

A fun-filled day full of sensory exploration, creativity, teamwork and lots of smiles! 💕❄️✨

This week our preschoolers are learning about spaceships and rocket ships! 🚀 We kicked off the week by designing our own rockets using coloured paper and practised writing our names on them. Everyone was excited to create their unique rocket and show off their wonderful writing skills!

Today our preschoolers enjoyed a variety of inside and outside free play experiences. Indoors, we explored books, built with LEGO, and used our imagination through play. Outdoors, we had lots of fun riding bikes, running, jumping, and developing our physical skills through active movement.

We also had a creative experience today where we decorated balloon-shaped pictures by sticking colourful pieces of paper onto the shapes. This activity encouraged creativity, fine motor skills, concentration, and children’s ability to make choices and express their own ideas.

Today, our toddlers had lots of fun being active together. We practiced our jumping skills through hopscotch, taking turns and encouraging one another as we moved through the course. We also gathered together to sing songs and dance, sharing laughter and enjoying movement through music. Throughout the day, we explored, created, moved our bodies, and connected with friends. These experiences supported our growing confidence, coordination, communication skills, and sense of belonging within our learning community.

Today, our children participated in a fun science and art activity called Magical Milk Painting. They added drops of different food coloring onto milk and then touched the colors with cotton buds dipped in dishwashing liquid. They watched with excitement as the colors swirled, mixed, and moved across the milk, creating different patterns.
