Due to a busy April, we have extended the nomination deadline for this year’s Cor Unum Alumnae Meritae Award. Nominations will be open until Sunday 17 May at 5pm. Excitement is building as we get closer to our Boarders and Friends reunion! It is heartening to see so many alumnae attending, including those reconnecting with the school for the first time.

As well as boarders, we warmly welcome all day girls from the boarding era to join us and make this day special. If you've been looking for an opportunity to get together and reminisce about your school days, we encourage you to rally your alumnae friends and come along.

As well as a lovely Mass and light refreshments, we look forward to sharing with you our wonderful archive displays featuring old photos, school magazines, and school uniforms. School tours will allow you to revisit the spaces that once felt like home, common rooms filled with late-night conversations, dining halls alive with laughter, and dorm corridors that witnessed countless stories.

The Cor Unum Alumnae Meritae Award award pays tribute to a Baradene Alumna who has made an outstanding contribution in their chosen field, a substantial contribution to the community and embraces the philosophy of the Sacred Heart in their everyday life. The award is presented every year at the Alumnae Meritae Award High Tea, this year to be held on Sunday 18 October – save the date!

Last Friday the Alumnae Association hosted a lively group of alumnae from the Class of 2021 for their 5-Year Reunion. It was an evening full of laughter and reconnection.
