AI with Eteroa is a free, online masterclass created by Fibre Fale to empower Pacific communities to navigate the digital world with clarity and confidence—without complex technical terms, costs, or barriers. Led by award-winning Samoan software engineer Eteroa Lafaele, this self-paced, 60-minute course breaks down artificial intelligence into simple, real-world concepts that anyone can follow.

For parents, it provides a clear, practical foundation to understand the everyday technology shaping their children’s lives. By explaining how algorithms work behind popular apps like TikTok, online games, and study tools, the course equips parents to guide family conversations around internet safety, privacy, and responsible tech use. Instead of feeling left behind by fast-changing technology, parents gain the understanding needed to support their children’s learning and help them safely use AI for school and future opportunities.

Welcome back to Term 3! We have 10 weeks full of learning and exciting things in store for our kids.

Here are a few important reminders to help us have a smooth and successful term:

Attendance: If your child is going to be absent, please contact their classroom teacher directly or notify our attendance officer at [email protected] as early as possible.

Winter Wellness & Uniforms: As we head into the colder months, please ensure your child comes to school with a warm, clearly labeled school jacket or jumper. If your child is unwell, keeping them home to rest helps prevent the spread of winter bugs.

Update Contact Details: If you have moved, changed phone numbers, or need to update your emergency contact list over the holidays, please let the front office know so we can keep our records accurate.

Drop-off & Pick-up Safety: A quick reminder to use the designated safe drop-off zones and remain mindful of our students' safety during the busy morning and afternoon rushes.

We are looking forward to a fantastic term ahead with you and your tamariki!

🏫 What’s On: Our Final Week Together! ✨

It is officially the final week of Term 2! While it is a lovely, quiet week as we wrap up our classroom learning, we have one very special highlight to look forward to:

🎨 Thursday is Spirit Day! We can’t wait to see everyone come dressed up and proud in their house colours.

A few gentle reminders for our families:

🎒 Full-Week Fun: Please bring your children along every day so they can enjoy the end-of-term wrap-ups and quality time with their friends.

🕒 Right Until the Bell: We want to celebrate together right up until the very last moment! We ask that all students stay with us until our final 3:00 PM bell on Friday.

💛 No Early Pick-ups: To keep our classrooms calm and settled, we kindly ask for no early pick-ups this week unless it is a super urgent situation.

Thank you so much for your incredible support and community spirit this term. Let’s make this a happy, relaxing finish for the kids! 🌟
