Our Year 2 and 3 Design + Digital Media students recently welcomed Jef Wong, Executive Creative Director at Designworks, for a guest lecture on creative careers -- branding, storytelling,and the thinking behind successful design outcomes.

Jef shared insights from his own journey as a designer, along with practical reflections on strategy, collaboration and creating work that is human-centred and culturally aware.

A warm thank you to Jef for sharing his time and experience with our students, and to Chris Chong for organising this valuable session.

Our Year 2 Bachelor of Sustainable Fashion Design students recently took part in an online Clo3D upcycling workshop with Andrea Diodati from the Fashion Institute of Technology, New York.

The workshop explored how 3D design tools can support more responsible fashion practices, from digital upcycling to reducing waste and rethinking how garments are designed.

Thank you to Andrea for sharing her expertise with our students, and to Dr Helen Gaudette from FIT for supporting this global learning opportunity.

The Top Art Exhibition is coming to Whitecliffe from 3–10 June.

Our Digital Media + Design students recently heard from Matt Grantham from Onfire Brand Design Agency in a guest session hosted by our Design Faculty.

Matt shared insights into brand design, creative practice and the experience of working in a studio environment. Sessions like this give students the chance to hear directly from professionals in the field, ask questions and see how creative work takes shape beyond the classroom.
